Conference “TALENTS AND WORK: Toward a conscious path of inclusion for people with disabilities” – Milan

Disability and Work: YouDoTools Takes Center Stage at the CEI Seminar in Milan

On December 2, 2025, the influential seminar “Disability and Work” was held at the headquarters of the Italian Episcopal Conference (CEI) in Milan. We at YouDoTools had the honor of participating to share our vision on how technology can serve as a tool for “reasonable accommodation” within the professional world.

AI as a “Reasonable Accommodation”

During the meeting, Guido Marangoni, engineer and founder of YouDoTools, referenced Article 2 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

Artificial Intelligence, when designed correctly, represents exactly this: a necessary and appropriate modification that ensures people with intellectual disabilities can exercise their rights on an equal basis with others. Our approach is captured in our motto, “Independent Together”: to be truly autonomous, we need others—and the tools that facilitate that connection.

YouDoToo: Technology Serving Workplace Inclusion

The core of our presentation was YouDoToo, the application (the evolution of the Vite Vere prototype) specifically designed for the unique needs of intellectual disability.

Unlike general-purpose AI, YouDoToo stands out for:

  • Security and Privacy: Data is protected, and prompts are tailored for the specific context.
  • Certified Knowledge: Responses are based on inputs validated by doctors, psychologists, and therapists.
  • Ease of Use: Operation is as intuitive as taking a selfie.

Concrete Scenarios in the Professional World

We demonstrated to the Milanese audience how YouDoToo can break down daily barriers in professional settings. For example, imagine Giulia, who works in a hotel: the app can help her remember all the steps required to prepare a room simply by framing the environment with her smartphone.

Whether in a restaurant or a shop, the app provides real-time support, helping manage assigned tasks and increasing the worker’s confidence in their own abilities.

Building the Future Together

The Milan event reaffirmed that collaboration among stakeholders—people with disabilities, caregivers, doctors, and companies—is the engine for creating truly effective solutions. We want to continue building this shared knowledge base so that every worker can have an intelligent ally by their side, capable of speaking their language and respecting their journey.
